This made-for-television sequel begins where the
legendary film Lawrence of Arabia leaves off. British officer
T.E. Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) travels to the Paris Peace Conference
with Emir Feisal, the King of Syria, in an effort to win independence
for the Arabs. But he soon finds that backroom politics have
become more lethal than desert combat because of the recent
discovery of the Middle East's vast oil reserves.
