Polly Walker

Polly Walker was born in Warrington, Cheshire, England, UK on May 19, 1966. She is one of four syblings - Emma, (Polly), Hannah and Danny. Her father, Arthur runs a hotel in her hometown, and her mother, Georgiana, is a retired school teacher.

As a teenager Polly wanted to be a dancer, at 16 she graduated from Ballet Rambert School in Twickenham but after suffering a permanent leg injury at the age of 18, she switched to acting. She is a veteran of England's Royal Shakespeare Company, which eventually lead to a succession of tv and films (see filmography). The rest, as they say, is history.

She currently lives in the U.S.A. with her 2 children, Giorgio (b.1994) and Delilah (b.2000).
